Vaccinations

A basic vaccination series should be a part of your puppy's or kitten's schedule during the first four months. A combination vaccine is given once a month from 8 weeks of age through 16 weeks and then once annually. It protects your puppy from common infections and illnesses, including distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus and parainfluenza virus. If you acquired a dog that is older than four months and that has not been vaccinated, the doctor may use a different protocol.

Your pet will also need a rabies vaccine, which is required by law. Please check with your veterinarian's office to schedule your dog or cat to come in for their vaccinations.
